All Q MAC silos come standard with the following Features
High roof cone and a removable automatic ventilation roof lid
The high roof and lid are designed to allow hot steam evaporate from the silo reducing risk of condensation.
Â
Removable 600 x 600mm inspection hatch fitted in the side wall of ALL silos
This allows excess for recommended annual inspections.
Â
Large level viewing windows
The large window give a realistic view of what content is in the silo, all windows are UV protected
Structural designed silo legs
We use only structural legs that are designed and manufactured to suit our silos.
Smooth silo walls
We use smooth sheeting rather than corrugated or spiral lock seam. To gives the silo an inner surface with no restrictions for material flow.
Stainless steel bolts
We fabricate our silos using only stainless steel bolts, nuts and EPDM rubber backed washers , this means that fixings will never rust or corrode. We use bolts rather than rivets, because we use cup square bolts (flat domed heads) to help meal flow in the bottom cone of all silos.
